Macbook Pro With Retina Display

Apple

General

A week after Apple announced that its Mac business had grown by 18 percent year over year at a time when the overall market is contracting, the company updated its MacBook Pro with Retina display notebooks.

The new devices come with faster processors and twice the memory in entry-level configurations. Apple also lowered the entry price for its top-of-the-line 15-inch MacBook Pro with Retina display and trimmed $100 off the starting price for the 13-inch MacBook Pro (without a Retina display).

These devices, which are powered by the OS X Mavericks operating system, get a free upgrade to new OS X Yosemite this fall.

It's a tricky report, because "MacBook Pro with Retina Display" is actually an existing product, which was updated. The headline and the article are more ambiguous because of lack of proper punctuation or typographic emphasis, or more careful wording.
