News Brief

Seattle-based Rhapsody International says its streaming music services have passed two million subscribers, up from 1.7 million in April. The new number includes the unRadio service it launched in June, but is primarily made up of subscribers paying for its Rhapsody on-demand music brand in the U.S., and its Napster brand in other territories. Spotify, the world’s biggest Web subscription music service, announced it had hit the 10 million mark in May.
