But it gave Wall Street the numbers it was looking for: The commerce giant reported earnings of 69 cents and revenue of $4.4 billion, right in line with consensus estimates. “PayPal generated another strong quarter while eBay’s growth was hampered by its global password reset for all users,” CEO John Donahoe said in a statement.
