News Brief

The first official head of Google Glass will be Ivy Ross, a design and marketing executive with experience at Calvin Klein, Swatch, Coach and others. TechCrunch first reported the news. The controversial product just this week became available to members of the general public, provided they’re willing to spend $1,500. A broader and cheaper retail release is expected.

I'm not sure fashion is really going to help Google Glass.  The average consumer does not need as much connectivity and information as Google Glass is designed for.  As pretty as they may be while doing it.

This product belongs in professional fields.  If they market this as a professionals greatest and most convenient source of information, I think it would be a little more plausible.
