An Israeli startup’s new ad features the “fake” sign-language interpreter from Nelson Mandela’s memorial service — and the company says it pulled him out of a psychiatric hospital to film it.

The commercial featuring Thamsanqa Jantjie is a stunt from Tel Aviv-based Livelens, which recently raised $2 million for its social livestreaming app.

Poor judgement on LIVELENS' part. If I were interested in their product(s) I'd worry about their willingness to lie to achieve a goal - for example, making a sale...(or a commercial!)

They LIED to the staff of the psychiatric hospital the man is in. Told the hospital he needed a one day release for a family event. They filmed their ad with him and are now bragging about how their STUNT worked and saying it is morally right. LIVELENS is desperately in need of a moral compass.
