News Brief

Home-sharing marketplace Airbnb has closed a $450 million round of venture financing that will value the company at $10 billion, according to two people close to the company. Private equity firm TPG led the round, with participation from existing investors, sources said. The Wall Street Journal reported the round’s negotiations last month. Airbnb had raised more than $300 million previously.
