The usually invite-only Google Glass will be available for sale to the general U.S. public on April 15, as the Verge first reported this morning. So if you want to spend your tax refund on a computer you can wear on your face, here’s where to go. Google Glass still costs $1,500, but they’ll throw in either titanium glasses frames or sunglass shades for free.


I was never enthusiastic about these, but when I learned that the data doesn't even appear on the primary lenses, then I lost all interest entirely. Rather, the data is projected on a tiny rectangle in the upper corner.  Weak.
