Anand Chandrasekaran, the exec who just left Yahoo after he did its recent deal with Yelp, is joining Bharti Airtel as chief product officer. The well-regarded techie will join the India telecom giant to “lead product conceptualization, design and development across the consumer segment of the company,” it said in a press release. At Yahoo, Chandrasekaran was senior director of global search products and has also worked at Openwave.

Yahoo's stock is dropping like a rock, but is still way overvalued. The p/e ratio is hideous for a mature company. Every day, a new acquisition, and every day poorer overall prospects.
